Live casino: a table with a dealer and money to plan
By Ilze Krūmiņa · updated October 2026
Live casino games are run by a real dealer in a studio: roulette, cards, dice, wheel-based game shows. You bet on screen while physical objects on camera decide the outcome. Here is how live differs from slots in money terms — pace, limits and bonuses.
How a round works
- A betting timer starts on screen.
- You choose your stake and position on the table.
- Time runs out and bets close.
- The dealer plays the round; the result settles automatically.
If your connection drops mid-round, the table rules decide the outcome. They are in the information panel and worth reading before your first bet.
Table limits
Every live table has a minimum and maximum stake. The minimum decides how many rounds your budget buys: with a table minimum of 2 and a budget of 40, that is twenty rounds at most — fewer in practice, because bets are often spread across several positions. Choose a table whose minimum fits your budget.
Live games and bonuses
| Situation | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live games count partly | Wagering moves slowly — far more betting needed |
| Live games excluded | Bonus bets do not count at all |
| Betting on opposite outcomes | Often treated as a breach of the terms |
If you mostly play live, depositing without a bonus is usually better value: your money is not tied to wagering and can be withdrawn after verification. See Bonus terms.
Pace and pauses
Live rounds follow one another, and the short gaps leave little time to stop and think. That is one reason it is easy to spend more than planned. Turn on a time reminder and stop after a set number of rounds rather than by feel.
Live in our guides
One of our game guides covers a live dice format, Monopoly Roll Em. For classic tables such as roulette and blackjack, see Table games. If you plan to withdraw a win, read Withdrawals and Verification.
Etiquette at the table
Many live games have a chat. It is part of the atmosphere, but the dealer is an employee and does not influence results. Do not share personal details in chat and do not trust "tips" from other players. If someone offers a "sure system" or asks you to send money, it is a scam.
Live wins
A live win is credited right after the round and, if you played without a bonus, sits in your real balance. If the evening ends ahead, the sensible move is usually to withdraw at least part of it rather than giving the next rounds a chance.
