Registration: five minutes that decide your first withdrawal

By Ilze Krūmiņa · updated October 2026

The sign-up form takes a couple of minutes, but the details you enter follow you all the way to your first payout. Many "stuck withdrawal" stories start here: a name typed differently from the passport, a wrong date of birth, an account in the wrong currency. This guide shows how to register so there is nothing to fix later.

Registration step by step

  1. Open the sign-up form on the operator's site — at an address you typed or bookmarked yourself, not one from an unknown message.
  2. Enter an email and phone number you will keep access to; codes and password resets go there.
  3. Choose the account currency that matches your bank account.
  4. Enter your name and date of birth exactly as in your passport or national ID.
  5. Create a password you do not use anywhere else.
  6. Confirm your email or phone with the code.

Why details must match your ID

Before a payout, the operator compares your profile with your document and with the bank account holder. Small differences — a missing accent, a shortened first name — can usually be explained but trigger extra questions. A wrong date of birth often needs support and a document copy to fix. Entering everything correctly up front is simpler. The documents you will be asked for later are listed on Verification.

Verify now or later

Some operators ask for documents at sign-up, others only before a withdrawal. If your account lets you upload them early, do it: the review happens while you are not waiting for money, and the first withdrawal is calmer.

The promo field and the bonus box

The sign-up form or first deposit often includes a promo-code field or a bonus checkbox. Before agreeing, see what it means for withdrawals: total wagering and the maximum bet. A worked example is on Welcome bonus.

Declining the bonus does not affect registration. Simply do not activate the offer; then verification is all you need for a withdrawal.

Limits from day one

A deposit limit, a session-time reminder and a loss limit are the simplest control tools. They are easiest to set now, before any emotion from a win or a loss. If your account settings do not offer them, ask support to set a limit for you. More on Responsible gambling.

Signing up on a phone

The form is the same on a phone; the advantage is that the camera makes document uploads easy. If you install an app, download it only from the operator's own site, not from a random link. See Mobile version.

Logging in safely

Turn on two-factor authentication if it is available. Do not save your password on shared computers or reuse it elsewhere. If an email "from the casino" asks you to log in via a link, open the site yourself instead.

Common problems

A second account for the same person nearly always breaks the terms and is discovered at withdrawal time. Solve problems with your existing account through support. After registering, the next step is your first deposit.

Frequently asked questions

How old do I have to be to register?
At least 18 — or older where local law requires it. Age is checked during verification.
Can I sign up without a phone number?
It depends on the form. Many operators require a phone or email for confirmation; use ones you will keep.
Can I change the account currency later?
Often only through support and before the first deposit, so choose correctly on the sign-up form.
I made a typo in my date of birth — what now?
Contact support before depositing and be ready to show your ID.
Can I have two accounts?
No. One person, one account; a second account can lead to voided winnings.
